What is Energy Hazard Response Training?

The Program

What does EHRT Offer?

EHT 4 RESPONSE offers comprehensive Energy Hazard training (EHT) to both the Fire Service and National Energy providers. For the Energy Industry, our training focuses on improving collaboration with local first responders, drawing from Chris Greene’s firsthand experience with Seattle City Light. By fostering cooperation, we create predictable expectations for both energy providers and first responders. Predictability leads to safer and more efficient emergency responses while nurturing strong relationships between the Energy and Fire Service sectors.
The Importance

Closing The Energy Gap

Energy hazard knowledge is one of the biggest training gaps for our first responders. Nothing exposed this problem more than Lithium-ion battery fires. But don’t be fooled, Li battery fires are only 1 piece of a much larger “Energy Battleship”. Learn how to quickly recognize these Energy hazards and strengthen you risk tolerance.
